Haworthiopsis attenuata (Zebra Haworthia)

Haworthiopsis attenuata, more commonly known as Zebra Haworthia, is a small species of succulent native to the Eastern Cape Province, South Africa. They have pointy leaves with zebra-like white stripes that appear as warty growth. When touched, you can feel the little bumps or ridges from these white stripes. Zebra Haworthia is on the more slow side of succulents in terms of growth rate but once establised they will produce pups. 

  • GROWING INFO

    Light: Very flexible in terms of light requirments, will survive in areas of low light but not ideal. Can tolerate full sun aslong as they are aclimated to it. Best situation is 6 hours of morning sun and they will thrive. 

    Water: Let soil dry out before watering, will rot if left in wet soil for too long. 

    Soil: Well draining soil, 2:1 solution of cactus mix and perlite.

    Temperature: 18°C - 26°C temperatures are very good and not much below 10°C
